ABOUT NECRI

The New England Court Reporting Institute (NECRI) is a Boston area court reporting school dedicated to teaching the art of stenography as it is used in the profession of court reporting.

Our mission is to offer the most comprehensive training possible and to graduate the most qualified court reporters in the industry. Court reporters are in high demand across the country as freelancers for depositions, officials for the courts, closed caption writers for television broadcast, CART writers for hearing impaired college students, and steno writers for medical transcription.

Our student body comes from throughout New England with representatives from Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. Upon graduation, we prepare all students for the CSR, RPR, and other state and national certification tests.

New England Court Reporting Institute also encourages students of the school to join the NCRA (National Court Reporters Association) and their state Court Reporting Associations.
